love it.

When I came back to London from italy, Amanda and I had to top up our oysters and I needed to give her some stuff she put in my bag that I checked. Just as I was moving to an area that wasn't busy and out of the way so I could open my bag, I accidently ran into a tfl man and he said "Oh. I'm sorry love." I love england. :D

X FM Winter Wonderland - White Lies, Ladyhawke, Ida Maria, Iglu & Hartly, The Rifles, Kaiser Chiefs

Yea, thats a lot of bands. and the two I wanted to see were the first and the last, of course.

okok, took place at brixton academy (same place I saw BOOSH haha)
I went by myself cause what the hell, I don't really care anymore.

Waiting out in the line seriously felt like waiting in line to get into the 930 club in dc. The building was all tattered next to the academy, but then again it is south london. There was this old lady a few people in front of me smoking a joint with her scraggly looking friend. There was a semi cute lad near the old bird, he had plaid on so of course I noticed, haha. But im prettttty sure he was a youngin. A lot of the people were. I was in front of this group of guys who was talking about his ticket and it had his mums name on it cause she was the cardholder. haha, lordy. barely legal guys. I ended up being in the ticket holders only line of course, cause I had to pick mine up, which was excellent cause the line was much much shorter. Oh yea and on the way just as I was leaving the underground to go to the venue, I guess some people on the streets were trying to find some weird donor for some charitable cause or whatever, I dunno. But some guy stopped me but I wasn't staying long term so he couldn't bug me, but we ended up talking about kings of leon and kaiser chiefs and he said he liked my look. I felt happy since I was wearing my new bowlers hat from TOPSHOPPPP. I'm going to miss that store. But I'm definitely coming back in a year and half time for grad school then living my days out in Londontown. Alright back to the show. I went to the top tier since I didn't want to get raped by the drunkies once more people had showed up or have my hat squished or stolen. So I got to sit and watch a show, very convenient. I have to say that this is probably the best pre-show and in between set music I've heard. I love england, so fantastic. They didn't play one shit song. They had the killers, strokes, the streets, the smiths, aerosmith/run dmc mix, kaiser chiefs(hah), kings of leon, white stripes, arctic monkeys, the beatles, razorlight, the kinks. I can't remember what else, but it was GOOD.

SOOO GOOOD
but I also knew what I was getting into, cause I went to see them.
They're gonna be mega-huge. all of their songs, well the ones I've heard, are definitely anthem worthy for next summer's festivals.
seriously
CHECK THEM OUT

heres a music video to give you a taste:

yea, pretty bloody fantastic, eh?
I thought I had a little fancy for the drummer, but I facebook stalked him and found out he has a lady but I think i'm just more in love with the actual drumming. ALSO, I looked at his facebook ermm an hour ago, to see if he posts anything white lies related, and I noticed he was tagged in a photo, it was MY picture I had posted on their page on facebook. HAAAAA. Charles (bass) took it and made an album of it and tagged the band in it. yessss, if only I had contact with them without being a creeper.
ok yes. amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing band.

she must have stepped right out of the 80's
I had heard her song "Paris Is Burning" (very catchy) somewhere but no idea where exactly.
Very electro 80's. I liked her, but I couldn't listen to her all the time.

the song I came out liking was "Dusk till Dawn" and you can hear her kiwi accent too. I always like that.

'ere it is:

I had known about her about a year prior but never fully listened to her. she is crazzyyy, but good crazy.
Very energetic. loved it. Her style is a bit wonky and 80s with the red leopard skin jeans. haha, but that's me since I've been influenced by England and wearing all black or dark colors.
she was definitely my favorite other than white lies and the chiefs.
check out "better when youre naked"

ewewewew
EW EW
The only american "band"
all white boys, two rapping
nooooo
no no!
the only catchy song is "this city" thats because it has minimal white boy rapping in it
one of the lead rappers, or whatever, has long thin gross white trash hair, at least schwayze's lead singer (damn I know his name- can't remember!) has some wave to his hair and schwayze is actually good.
I disapprove.

eh. boring. and the lead singer looked like ( from the top tier) a love child between tom green and noel gallagher. ALTHOUGH he was left handed, so that gained some points from me.
yea. can't remember much of their songs except they did play "winter wonderland" so cuteeeeeeee

yes yes yesssssss
ricky was off his face, which made it even more amazing.
it was my first time FINALLY seeing them live since I have been a fan since employment, back in the good ol' days
hmm what to say
first ricky climbed on top of a huge set of amps, then later he went into the crowd (bad bad idea) and had one of his shoes stolen, but threw it back into the crowd anyway and then the the other shoe just for the hell of it. Apparently the show was live in the radio so he asked everyone in the audience to scream profanities at the same time, it was excellent, but I didn't do it cause I was sitting next to a sodding family. danggggg ittttt, haha

you must go see them before you die.

the endddd.
